Terms of Use
Last updated 2 October 2026
These terms apply to bzbookkeeping.com — this website. They are not the agreement under which we do your books. Bookkeeping work is governed by a separate written service agreement that we send you and you sign before anything starts. If the two ever disagree about the work, the signed agreement wins.
Who you are agreeing with
This site is published by BZ Bookkeeping LLC, a limited liability company registered in New Jersey, United States, trading as BZBookkeeping. “We” and “us” below mean that company. Contact: ray@bzbookkeeping.com.
What this site is
It describes our bookkeeping service and a separate standalone AI bookkeeper in development. The software features shown are planned capabilities, not services available through this website. An enquiry creates no software account or subscription. Product terms will be provided before the software becomes available.
It is not an offer capable of acceptance. Reading it, filling in the contact form, or receiving a reply from us does not create a client relationship or oblige either of us to anything. We become your bookkeepers when a service agreement is signed, and not before.
We are not accountants, and this is not advice
BZ Bookkeeping LLC provides bookkeeping services only. We are not certified public accountants, we are not enrolled agents, and we are not attorneys. Nothing on this website is tax advice, legal advice, accounting advice or investment advice, and nothing on it should be relied on in place of a professional qualified to give it. We do not prepare or file tax returns, we do not perform audits, reviews or any other attest engagement, and we do not represent anyone before a tax authority.
Where the site describes what good bookkeeping looks like, it is describing our own process — not making a recommendation about how your business should account for anything.
Scope and fees
We do not publish a price list. Bookkeeping scope, fees and any catch-up work are quoted for your business in writing before work starts. Your signed service agreement governs the engagement. Removing public pricing does not change an existing client’s agreement.
For our bookkeeping service, QuickBooks Online is a subscription in your own name billed to you by Intuit. It is separate from our fee. Enquiring about the AI bookkeeper does not commit you to a purchase.
Using the contact form
Anything you send through the form should be true and should be yours to send. Please do not send us account credentials, card numbers, Social Security numbers or anyone else’s personal information through it — it is an enquiry form, not a secure document channel, and our privacy policy explains exactly what happens to what you do send.
Sending a message does not make anything confidential or privileged. We will treat what you tell us sensibly and we will not publish it, but no professional privilege attaches to an enquiry, and none attaches to bookkeeping work in general.
We aim to reply within two business days. That is a commitment we make about our own conduct — it is not a guarantee that carries legal consequences, and email being what it is, a message can fail to arrive in either direction.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Submit the contact form automatically, in bulk, or to send us advertising. Unsolicited sales pitches through the form are not consented to, and we treat them as spam.
- Attempt to gain access to any part of the site or its infrastructure that is not publicly published, or probe it for vulnerabilities without asking us first.
- Scrape, mirror or systematically copy the site’s content, or use it to train a model, without our written permission.
- Frame the site, or present it in a way that implies an association or endorsement that does not exist.
If you think you have found a security problem with this site, please email ray@bzbookkeeping.com rather than publishing it. We will answer.
Our content
The text, design, logo and other material on this site belong to BZ Bookkeeping LLC. You are welcome to read it, print it, and quote it with attribution. You may not republish it as your own or use our name or logo to suggest that we endorse you.
QuickBooks and Intuit are trademarks of Intuit Inc., and Plaid is a trademark of Plaid Inc. We name them because we use them. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as an agent of either company.
Links to other sites
Where this site links somewhere else, that site is not ours and we do not control what it says or does. Following an external link is your own decision and their terms apply once you are there.
Availability
We would like the site to be available all the time, and we do not promise that it will be. We may change, move or remove anything on it at any time without notifying you individually. Signed client agreements are unaffected by changes to the website.
Disclaimer and limits
The website and its contents are provided as they are. To the fullest extent the law permits, we make no warranties of any kind about the site — including that it is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted or error-free — and we exclude all implied warranties.
To the fullest extent the law permits, BZ Bookkeeping LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, or for any loss arising from a decision you made in reliance on it before entering a written agreement with us. Our liability for the bookkeeping work itself is dealt with in that agreement, not here.
Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about this website will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and we each agree those courts have jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top is the date of the current version, and the version in force is the one published when you use the site.
